CCA revealed its roster of keynote speakers for the annual convention taking place virtually on Wednesday, October 21. The speakers include: U.S. Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS), FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, Ericsson’s Paul Challoner; Interop Technologies’ John Dwyer and Josh Wigginton; Nokia’s John Harrington; T-Mobile’s Neville Ray and TNS’s Mike Keegan.
The keynote program will kick-off at 10 a.m. ET with a welcome by CCA President and CEO Steve Berry followed by remarks from Wicker and Carr. T-Mobile’s Ray will follow and discuss T-Mobile’s leadership, momentum, and progress accelerating 5G for all. Ericsson’s Challoner, will round out the morning program at 11 a.m. with a discussion on virtual RAN and beyond.
The keynotes continue at 2:15 p.m. ET with a discussion between Interop Technologies’ President and CEO John Dwyer and VP of Product Management, Josh Wigginton; They will discuss the lifecycle of operator messaging and outline a path for operators to secure their role in 5G messaging.
At 2:30 p.m. ET, Mike Keegan, CEO, TNS, will have a virtual “fireside chat” with Steve Berry to discuss robocall prevention measures such as the TRACED Act and the STIR/SHAKEN Call Authentication framework. John Harrington, SVP, U.S. majors accounts of Nokia, will close out the keynote program at 2:45 ET with remarks entitled, “Networks are What Keep Us Going.”
