The Head of Business Development role is critical to driving our expansion in mobile telecom. You will report directly to the VP Sales and Marketing. You will become a core part of the team expanding Pointivo’s footprint in mobile telecom in North America and beyond.
- Drive outreach and engagement for current and future clients across the mobile telecom space
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with executives and key contacts of target clientsand partners
- Develop growth strategies with the executive team for the mobile telecom space
- Help prospect and close relationships with key target clients
- Monitor the revenue pipeline and lead volume in the mobile telecom space, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth
- Operate in a lean, high-growth environment of constant experimentation and learning
- Assure that market messaging and strategy fits well within the rapidly evolving mobile telecom ecosystem
- Evangelize the company through participation in key industry venue and event
- Work closely with the executive team to create, implement and roll-out plans for growth strategies, operational processes, reporting systems, and company policies
Experience and Key Attributes
- Minimum of seven years of client development or consulting experience in the mobile telecom market
- Sales or business development for leading mobile telecom player(s)
- Deep knowledge of early-stage prospect engagement in a consultative role to establish credibility through to customer conversion
- Exceptional personal presence, business acumen, presentation and communication skills
- Must thrive in a strong team atmosphere while achieving key objectives
- Must have a consultative communication style by active listening and asking well informed questions; establish credibility with a consultative approach
- Demonstrated skills as a collaborative team player
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field desired
