Megan Reed has been promoted to VP, Marketing at Inside Towers, a leading media outlet for the wireless industry. During her time as Inside Towers’ Marketing Director, Reed has contributed to the company’s dramatic growth.
Inside Towers’ brand and social media have been a central focus for Reed. When she joined, the company had 6,700 followers across all platforms. Now it boasts over 32,000 followers, all organically grown. Reed spearheaded a website redesign, which has realized an over 100 percent increase in traffic and she revamped all marketing materials, including the Inside Towers media kit.
She has established and presently oversees over thirty media partnerships with key industry events and associations ranging from the Wireless Infrastructure Association, the Competitive Carriers Association and NATE to CTIA, IWCE, TowerXchange.
“Fewer things move faster than marketing and telecom. It’s important to be proactive, not reactive. It’s exciting to see our small company grow right alongside this industry. It certainly keeps me on my toes,” said Reed. “Ultimately, my goal is to provide companies, big and small, with a new perspective and challenge the way they approach business development. It’s rewarding to see their success and the friendships I’ve made along the way are an invaluable bonus.”
Reed, backed by a “passionate team,” has helped introduce several successful initiatives including Inside Towers’ Spring and Fall Showcases, the FCC ASR Database product, a digital marketing division (Inside Towers Targets), the Tower Talks podcast and the Pro Panel series.

Prior to joining the Inside Towers team, Reed was the Strategic Marketing Specialist for New York City’s #1 real estate firm, Douglas Elliman. She helped launch their first Connecticut office in Greenwich. She also previously worked at two advertising agencies as a Senior Account Executive, concepting and executing campaigns for brands such as Pepsi, Starbucks, McCormick and Clorox. She is an honor graduate from Elon University with a BA in Strategic Communications.
