Wilkinson Barker Knauer (WBK) said Nicholas Alexander is joining the firm as a Partner in the Washington, D.C., office. Alexander joins WBK with a background in telecommunications law and policy issues, having been a government attorney, in-house counsel, and in private practice.
Alexander spent a decade at the FCC, where he was a Staff Attorney and Manager in the Wireline Competition Bureau, as Special Counsel in the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy and as a legal advisor to three members of the Commission. He then spent over four years in-house with a major telecom provider, where he most recently led the company’s regulatory advocacy team as Vice President of Federal Regulatory Affairs.
