Oklahoma City firefighters and police officers as well as medical personnel from EMSA responded to a 911 call at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning regarding a man who had climbed over 200 feet onto a telecommunications tower. A rescue team composed of firefighters talked the man down to a lower level where he could be reached by an aerial ladder. The crew secured the man, and assisted him safely to the ground by 1 p.m.
No other information was available on the man’s condition or if he will be charged with trespassing or reckless endangerment.
