Backed by decades of experience developing innovative connectivity, surge protection, monitoring, and concealment solutions, Raycap enters 2020 as a leader in the small cell 5G telecom market through its expansion of product offerings and engineering and manufacturing capabilities in the United States.
With its recent acquisition of telecom and switchgear manufacturer Apelio, and STEALTH® concealment and small cell pole products, Raycap offers a comprehensive set of solutions and products designed to address the infrastructure needs of telecom operators, whether building out their macro network, or deploying small cell 4G and 5G networks with fully integrated and concealed small cell sites.
Included in Raycap’s portfolio is its unique patent pending technology, InvisiWave. Fabricated from a heavy-duty, RF friendly material, InvisiWave products are capable of covering and hiding mmWave radios attached to street light poles, on rooftops or other structures, without interfering with radio performance. The material has been thoroughly tested to identify beamforming impact, from sub 6 GHz frequencies up to 52 GHz bands, making it backward compatible (as well as future-proof). It has been approved for use on 5G networks by major U.S. operators. InvisiWave is available for both STEALTH radomes (pole toppers, pole shrouds) and panel solutions (rooftop, screen walls, chimney concealments) for new site builds and retrofit projects.
“The availability of this groundbreaking new material gives carriers a range of concealment options to help them build out their 5G networks more quickly and effectively,” explains Kelly Richards, Raycap Senior Vice President, Sales.
Raycap’s advanced concealment products give carriers multiple options to satisfy code and regulatory requirements for small cell sites within each municipality. For example, new integrated small cell poles come populated with 4G and 5G mmWave small cell systems that are fully concealed, easier to install and fit into the cityscape.
“We are an innovative solutions company. We monitor infrastructure development and technological advancements to ensure we remain ahead of the curve and are able to anticipate our customers’ needs,” said Trey Nemeth, General Manager, Raycap|STEALTH . “Of equal importance is monitoring the pulse of how municipalities and utilities are approaching 5G guidelines and regulations. By providing the municipalities with information to help them navigate federal regulations, and by providing them with concealment options, we help them streamline the process of defining regulations and processes that speed deployment of 5G mmWave networks while maintaining control over the urban aesthetic environment.”
Raycap works with leading organizations worldwide and continues to learn from them every day. With manufacturing plants in Europe and the United States, Raycap follows the most stringent product quality and inspection standards in the industry while handling large customer volumes and rollouts. Operational excellence, the highest quality standards, rigorous inspection, supply chain management and consistent on-time delivery are the foundation of Raycap’s success.
