Last Wednesday, a small but vocal group of Lake Forest, CA parents rallied at a meeting to voice their concerns over potential health impacts related to 5G towers which are now, “all over Southern California,” reported KCAL-TV. The Orange County residents worry that 5G technology is dangerous for their families.
“I’m horrified, to be honest with you,” attendee Christina Rich said.
“I don’t want a cell tower anywhere near our house. They don’t belong in the neighborhoods. They haven’t been proven to be safe.”
During the meeting, Dafna Tachover, a consultant called in to give her opinion on the health effects of wireless technology radiation, explained that for 5G to operate, telecommunications companies need to, “pack their cell sites close together,” which is why they want access to public rights-of-way. She shared studies allegedly from NASA and military sources that showed a connection between radiation and serious illnesses, KCAL-TV reported.
Tachover is the founder of We Are The Evidence a group formed to, “expose the suppressed epidemic of sickness, suffering and human rights crisis created by wireless technology.” She is an attorney both in New York and in Israel who received her degree in the UK and has an MBA. According to her website, “she gained a technical understanding of wireless networks and infrastructures as a communications and computer officer in the Israeli Defense Forces where she was the commander of the computer center for their Operations Center and Headquarters.”
Beginning in 2009, Tachover developed her opinions toward the impact of RF when she said she started experiencing symptoms which she attributed to the use of her laptop computer. On her website, she described her symptoms of electrosensitivity as “severe and debilitating” which she said, “forced her to give up her career, divorce her husband and give up her dream of having children.” She subsequently moved to the Catskill Mountains of New York, “where she found areas with little or no radiation.” There she began to “heal and act,” the website says.
Last year, Tachover testified in front of the Michigan State Senate, arguing against Bill 637 that would ease the implementation of 5G technology. The bill was approved by the governor in December of 2018. In 2015, she was featured in a New York Magazine article entitled: “What It’s Like to Be Allergic to Wi-Fi”. Comments? Email Us.
