Mission Statement

The New Jersey Wireless Association, formed in accordance with the State Wireless Association Program (SWAP), was launched in May 2005 and sponsored by The Wireless Infrastructure Organization (then called PCIA — The Wireless Infrastructure Association). The Association is comprised of members of all sectors of the wireless industry and its objective is the promotion and advancement of the industry by means of education, awareness and opportunity.

Members of NJWA are dedicated to educating the public, as well as local and state government, to ensure growth of our industry. NJWA encourages its members to collaborate on issues and challenges our industry experiences in a unified voice. Since the formation of the association, our membership has grown to more than 1,900 members with seven (7) active committees.

The goals of NJWA are to:

I. Promote positive industry awareness
II. Unite companies to educate public officials about the role of the wireless industry and its benefits
III. Cultivate relationships between various members in the industry and the local communities they serve
IV. Ensure the continued growth and development of the wireless industry within the state
V. Give back to the community through local charitable organizations

The Association hosts quarterly networking opportunities around the state. We host an annual charity golf outing at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township every June, a winter holiday social following the New Jersey League of Municipalities (NJLM) conference and more.

Our past events have contributed more than $126,000.00 total to various charitable groups such as Little Kids Rock, Esophageal Cancer Education Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Brain Aneurysm Foundation, American Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, the Meghan Rose Bradley Foundation and many others.

We thank all of our members and sponsors for their continued support, and this year we anticipate additional membership and carrier participation as we continue to provide beneficial information, offer education to all and advocate on behalf of our colleagues in the wireless telecommunications industry.
